CRYSTAL, STONE AND MAGNETIC JEWELRY
I have started a new hobby of jewelry making and it has been great!
This started off just as any kind of jewelry which I do still do, however, my tastes have headed more into a crystal healing kind of path. I used to really enjoy crystal healing when I was much younger, and got out of it. Due to health reasons, and a bit of bad luck for months, I looked into crystals for healing. Some believe, some do not, but I figure if you believe a crystal worn will make you healthier, what does it hurt to try it? I started using Carnelian, and wore it faithfully everyday, and I did actually feel ill if I was not wearing it for longer than a day.
Many people believe in copper bracelets for arthritis and so forth, and many also believe in magnetic jewelry for the same purpose. Below you will see a list of stones and their healing powers that I have gotten from various books and websites I have read.
I am currently making jewelry in Jade, Turquoise, Amethyst, Carnelian and Hematite.

Agate-used for strength, self confidence,courage and protection. Improve concentration. Specifically, Blue Lace Agate is a soothing stone used to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety. Placed on the abdomen, stimulates the digestive process and relieves gastritis.
Amethyst- Promotes inner peace and serenity. Some naturopaths use Amethyst to treat insomnia, sugar imbalances and relieve headaches.
Carnelian- To calm fear, enhance self-esteem,ease depression, bring good health and protection from accidents. carnelian is thought by some to enhance self esteem, to combat feelings of inadequacy, and to increase physical energy. In the home, it is sometimes used as a talisman to protect against fire and misfortune. Carnelian is associated with the solar plexus chakra (the yellow chakra), in which imbalances are thought to cause digestive problems, as well as lack of confidence. Carnelian can help to calm the fears about death and rebirth, bringing serenity and acceptance of the great cycle of life. Carnelian increases personal power and physical energy, gives courage, and boosts creativity and compassion. Wearing or carrying Carnelian can enhance one's vitality and will, providing higher energy needed when approaching new projects and dreams.
Mentally, Carnelian focuses analytical capabilities, and aids meditation by allowing deeper concentration and keeping out interrupting thoughts. Carnelian is useful in making decisions by keeping us focused on the here and now and not on past experiences. Carnelian calms anger and grounds you in reality, while keeping you aware of unconditional Love permeating the Universe. Carnelian encourages initiative and determination.
Physically, Carnelian increases personal power and physical energy. Carnelian relieves PMS and menopausal symptoms as well as assisting in the areas of fertility and potency.
Hematite- Used for healing of all kinds. This stone is magnetic, so must not be worn by people who have pacemakers!! For mental healing, Hematite improves memory, mental focus, and concentration, and improves self-confidence.
Physically, Hematite is used to protect against geopathic stress and electromagnetic smog, and is said to be a great detoxifying stone, for the blood and liver. Treats leg cramps, anemia, nose bleeds, menstrual cramps, anxiety and insomnia. Anyone into the power of magnets for arthritic pain should have one . Hematite should not be used where there is inflammation or for long periods of time. Native Americans may have used Hematite as a remedy for dental problems, pimples, canker sores and alcohol abuse. I personally suffer from canker sores all my life but since wearing Hematite, I rarely have any anymore.
Mental Healing
Hematite has a reputation for helping people bring order to mentally chaotic situations by drawing tension out of the body, neutralizing negativity and releasing anger. They also recognize its power for increasing mental function and believe it can improve memory, mathematical processes, logic, creativity and mental dexterity. Finally, it is an excellent aid in meditation, recognized by healers for calming the mental state, tuning the consciousness and increasing the pathways that lead to inner knowledge

Copper- $15.00- Bracelet made with pure bright copper wire all through the bracelet as Hematite is a very heavy stone. 2 sizes round Hematite and twisted oval Hematite beads.
Gold - $15.00 - antiqued gold plated pieces and gold wire through out the bracelet. 2 sizes round Hematite beads.
Silver- $15.00 - Silver Plated wire through out the bracelet and antiques silver plated bead accents.
Turquoise-
Used for increasing energy and to increase meditational abilities. Turquoise is one of the official birthstones for the month of December, and is heralded as the stone of communication. It encourages enthusiasm, thus inspiring new projects and bringing to light undiscovered artistic abilities. Turquoise also provides understanding and encourages attention to detail while attracting prosperity and success.
The sprawling lines of coppery matrix provide a large amount of energy to its wearer. This may be one reason why the stone has long been prized as a powerful talisman with healing properties. It is believed that turquoise can help balance the blue throat chakra, enhancing the ability to communicate while increasing resistance to viruses, helping to relieve sore throats and allergies.
Physical Healing
As a healing stone, Turquoise is among the crystal healing master stones. According to followers of the New Age, its powers can benefit the whole body, with special strengths in healing ailments of the immune, respiratory, waste and skeletal systems. Crystal healers recommend it for detoxification of alcohol, poison, pollution or radiation in the body, treatment of high blood pressure, asthma, infections, TMJ and dental problems.
Mental Healing
In the world of crystal healing, Turquoise is supposed to be a stone of communication. New Age healers recommend it for people who have a fear of public speaking. They believe it has the ability to make a speaker more eloquent, loving, creative and honest. But it is also improves the mental state overall by increasing all of the following positive mental characteristics: serenity, creativity, empathy, positive thinking, sensitivity, intuition, happiness wisdom all of which result in a calmer state that leads to greater self-realization. It is also considered a stone of friendship. As a communication stone, the New Age believers say that it opens up the connections between friends and allowing love to flow in those communications, which strengthens the friendship bond. Further, they believe it has the power to strengthen convictions, courage and personal power.
